Description

Reference FAR 5.207(c)(14), FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Numbered Note 22. Intent is to award a purchase order No Later Than 30 September 2007. The USPFO for Florida,Florida Army National Guard, intends to solicit from a single source for the purposes of a cquiring commercial off the shelf items from Meggitt Defense Systems (MDS)-Caswell. The item requested for purchase is Quantity 6, Product ZG9-1. This product combines product SES with product RZ16. SES is MDS Caswell's sound effects Simulator. RZ16 is RF Interface Devise. It can be tethered to SES when a target lifter is not required. Both products are remotely controlled via MDS Caswell Range Master 9000 software of Hand Held Controller. The Contracting Officer has determined only one source reasona ble available due to brand name requirements. Camp Blanding Joint Training Center (CBJTC) owns and operates MDS Caswell targetry on its various ranges. They maintain a stockage level supporting repairs and additional radio frequency modules for these tar get systems. The required system integrates a Radio Controlled Interface that is remotely cntrolled via MDS Caswell Range Master 9000 software or Hand Held Controller, currently on hand.
