Description
Sources Sought Air Combat Command Acquisition Management Integration Center (AMIC), Langley AFB VA, is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy to obtain non-personal services for the MQ-1 Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Contract Aircrew Training and Courseware Development (CAT/CWD) at Nellis AFB, NV. The period of performance will cover a one-year base period with four, one-year options. The government expects to make an award on or about 30 Jun 07, with a two month phase in period (Aug-Sep 08) and performance start date of 1 Oct 08. This acquisition will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) on or about 7 Jan 08. Please note this is an estimated post time and it is the responsibility of interested contractors to monitor Fed Biz Opps for all subsequent postings. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) is posted on Fed Biz Ops in conjuction with this sources sought notice to provide the size, scope, and complexity of the requirements to interested parties. The predecessor contract for the MQ-1 Remotely Operated Vehicle CAT/CWD services was awarded as full and open. The Government seeks industry input to determine if this acquisition should be a total small business set-aside under the auspices of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19 or remain full and open. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 611512. Interested small businesses who are certified and qualified as a small business concern in NAICS 611512 shall submit a package outlining their capabilities in key areas as determined by the government as relevant to the performance of this requirement. These companies are encouraged to respond and submit their capability statement(s) to this office NLT COB on 19 Oct 07. Please address the five (5) small business criteria that was posted as a word document to Fed Biz Ops. Hard copies of documents posted on FBO will not be made available. The Government will provide email confirmation of receipt of your statements.
