- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is WC1SH5720G108. (iii) This RFQ and the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2 005-18 (July 5,2007). (iv) This procurement is restricted to small businesses and the applicable NAICS is 444130 (v) This RFQ contains ONE (1) line item. Price quoted must include shipping FOB destination. (vii) Delivery location: GRF DOL, Building 2116 Fort Wainwright, Alaska 99703 on or before 1 October 2007. Four 1,000-watt metal halide lamps providing excellent illumination. A 12-hp low maintenance Lombardini diesel engine (or Equal), economically efficient to operate, reliable starting. Long life metal halide lamps, Capable of Illuminating 5-7 acres for cons truction or industrial application. Extendable mast up to 30 feet (9 meters) and must rotate 360 degrees Must remain stable in winds up to 65 mph (105 kph) with outriggers deployed The engine must offer approximately 64-hour run time at 3/4 load (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial (JAN 2004), applies to this acquisition (ix), Offers will be evaluated using the best value selection method, the following are the evaluation factors to be used. Delivery time, an d price, delivery time being the most important then price. The contract will be awarded to the offeror that provides the best value to the government.
