- Description
- The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), Quantico, VA intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to VXServices, LLC, 1230 Hunter Court, Longmont, CO, 80501-3158 for the maintenance and support for the MCIA Imagery Analysis Division’s (IAD) existing VX4000 hardware and associated software licenses. The intended ordering period is one base period of one year, with an additional three (3) one-year options to be exercised at the discretion of the government. The estimated value of the contract will be $38,640.00. Per FAR 13.501, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source to procure services that provide hardware and software support and maintenance for the VX4000 However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Respondents must provide level-of-effort and dollar estimates to acquire a full understanding of hardware and software support and maintenance for the VX4000. As part of the written response, a respondent must be able to prove to the Government their knowledge of and ability to provide technical support services including technical configuration of VX4000 hardware and software. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Interested parties with the capability of meeting the proposed requirements are requested to provide an E-mail to the MCSC point of contact, Mr. Edward McGrail, (edward.mcgrail@usmc.mil), not later than 1400 (2:00 p.m. EST) on September 23, 2007. Capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to! compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
