- Description
- This is a sole source combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items (non-personal services). This document was prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented and in accordance with FAR FAC 2005-09, April 19, 2006 with additional information included in this notice. The United States Air Force (USAF) intends to award a large business sole source, commercial, firm-fixed price, one-time contract to ComTech PST Corp. This requirement is to provide repair of a low band amplifier system IAW the Statement of Work. Market research shows ComTech PST Corp is the only source that can satisfy the Government's requirements. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 335999 and the size standard is 500. This is not a Request for Quotation, nor is it an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. This notice is posted for notification purposes only. Requests for copies of a solicitation hereto will not be honored or acknowledged. All timely responses will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not it is advantageous to the Government to conduct a competitive procurement; no award will be made on the basis of any response to this notice. Any company that feels they have the capability to meet the needs of the Government must submit their technical data (2 pages or less) to support their claim. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This electronic solicitation is the only solicitation being issued. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. STATEMENT OF WORK This repair is for a low band amplifier of the wattmeter calibrator. Qty: 1 LO. P/N BHED1617-1000/6609, S/N1P6A00-1002. The contractor shall test and repair the amplifier at their facility. Components required for the repair will be provided by the contractor. The contractor will return the amplifier to Building 162 Robins AFB, GA. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-SEP-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
