Description

In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and not other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The Minerals Management Service intends to award a sole source purchase order to Unique Digital Technology, Inc for an Overland MEO 4100, 1 LTO-4 Native Fiber Channel, 60 slots Tape Unit for Data Loading in their Gulf Of Mexico Region office. Familiarity with MMS Integration Environment is an requirement. Providing the hardware, integration, installation, and testing of the NEO from the Dell Server and communications to the MMS Infrastructure. Integration also includes supporting of Fiber Channel Device Drivers for the FC Cards and NEO. This equipment will be used to load seismic data from multiple media formats into Minerals Management Service Data Loading SAN Storage Unit. No award will be made on the basis of quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The intent to this Special Notice is for informational purpose only. However, all information received within 2 working days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
