Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is interested in leasing space in or near Salt Lake City, Utah. The site must have immediate and safe access to principal and minor arterial roads (I-80, I-15, or I-215). Areas which are not acceptable as sites for this facility are areas with known past or present contamination by hazardous waste materials and any site which is located in a predominately industrial, residential or school area. The space/site must be located within the following boundaries: North- 3000 North Street; South- 5400 South Street; East- State Street; and West- 7200 West Street. Must not be located within the 100-year flood zone. Approximate size: 10,100 rentable square feet of office, 8,500 square feet of warehouse, and 18,300 square feet of secured wareyard along with 22 employee parking spaces and 6 visitor parking spaces. Site must have city utilities (electricity, gas, and water, sewer, and telecommunication facilities capable of supporting DS1 service). The site must be large enough, and configured in such a way, as to provide efficient, convenient and flexible use of the site. Consideration should be given to the proximity of amenities available in the area, such as public transportation, bike & foot paths and eateries. The lease term will be 20 years, 15 years firm term. The space offered must meet ABAAS guidelines and Fire Safety Standards.
