- Description
- The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) intends to award a sole source purchase order in the amount of $65,333.11 to Unisys Corporation, 11720 Plaza America Drive, Reston, VA 20190-4757 to prepare for relocation de-installation and reinstallation at another site for one Unisys Clearpath Plus Libra Model 585, utilizing Part 13 of the FAR, Simplified Acquisition procedures, and the test program authorized in FAR subpart 13.5, and the Patent and Trademark Acquisition Guidelines (PTAG). In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, 10.U.S.C 2304 (c)(1) or 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), Unisys is the only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation will be issued as a result. The Unisys Libra 595 mainframe computer is a proprietary system with a proprietary operating system. Unisys is the only firm which can provide maintenance to do this preparation in order not to void existing maintenance and warranty, and does not have any authorized service providers.
