- Description
- The U.S. Department of Education (ED) will conduct a streamlined competition, in accordance with OMB Circular A-76 (Revised May 29, 2003), for a call center and training services for the EDCAPS applications in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. The competition will include services that are currently performed in Washington, DC. Services being competed include call center customer service representatives and training services, both material development and delivery. The Department will use documented market research to determine an estimated cost of performing the activity with a private sector source. Currently, the incumbent service provider is ED employees with contractor support. The competition will encompass the work of 15 FTE. The ED Competitive Sourcing Official is Lawrence Warder. The projected end date of the competition is September 26, 2007. This notice constitutes formal public announcement of the A-76 streamlined competition. Interested parties should monitor FedBizOpps for the performance decision announcement for this A-76 streamlined competition.
