- INSTALL PERIMETER SECURITY FENCE AT GALLUP AIR ROUTE SURVEILLANCE RADAR (GUP ARSR) FACILITY LOCATED BETWEEN GALLUP AND SHIPROCK WEST OF SHEEP SPRINGS IN NORTHWEST NEW MEXICO SOLICITATION DTFASW-08-R-00001 POINT OF CONTACT: JERI BIRD, CONTRACTING OFFICER, 817 222-4391 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking qualified construction contractors interested in providing offers to install approximately 1100 linear feet of perimeter fence at the Gallup Air Route Surveillance Radar Facility. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install a perimeter security fence. The security fence shall be a minimum 7 foot tall chain link fabric fence with a one foot outrigger fitted with barbed wire and barbed tape. Contractor shall install a matching double-leaf chain link gate in addition to a single bar gate. Security fence and gates shall be equipped with a continuous ground system. Contractor shall provide all painting required for the single bar gate. 1. Contract performance time is 21 calendar days. 2. This construction project is being procured by full and open competition. 3. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238990 - All Other Specialty Trade Contractors and the small business size standard is $13 Million. 4. The dollar range for this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 5. A (pre-bid) site visit is scheduled to be held on October 16, 2007, 11:00 AM (local time). All interested contractors are highly encouraged to attend this site visit. 6. Contractor is expected to perform at least 15 % of the work utilizing the contractor's own employees. 7. Contractor MUST be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before contract award. Contractors can register on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/. The Request for Offer Package is expected to be available on October 9, 2007. Contractors must submit their request for this package no later than 3:00 pm (CDT) on October 11, 2007.
