Description
The 36th Contracting Squadron intends to make a sole-source award, based on the availability of funds, to Innovation Inc., 627 Field Street, Johnson City, NY 13790, for parts and labor to complete an upgrade to the 36th Medical Group?s PharmASSIST dispensing system at Andersen AFB, Guam. The pharmacy currently utilizes a PharmASSIST Enterprise System and wants to migrate to the ROBOTx Dispensing System for prescription processing. The pharmacy believes that integrating Innovation?s legacy software and technology with the new ROBOTx upgrades will provide the best possible system at the most cost effective price. Under the authority provided in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106-1(b)(1), the Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. Interested parties are invited to submit information concerning their capabilities, experience, and other data pertinent to their ability to provide the same equipment and service to meet this requirement no later than 29 Sep 2006 at 12:00 pm Guam time. Pricing data may be submitted. Written responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating your firm?s capability to provide the required equipment and service. This is not a request for proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Respondents will not be notified of the results of an evaluation of the information received. No contract award will be made on the basis of responses received; however, this information will be used in the Contracting Officer?s assessment of capable sources. The size limitation for email attachments is five megabytes per individual email message. Only email responses will be permitted. If after 29 Sep 2007 at 12:00 pm. Guam time, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, the Contracting Officer shall initiate a contract award solely to Innovation Inc. pending the availability of funds.
