- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote, solicitation number W90YD8-7163-0400-L. A document labeled CIO Communications Equipment FedBizOpps (L), in an easy to read format containing the same information as stated below is posted to https://sdguard/sdguard/Contract_Sol.asp under the tab SDNG Contract Solicitations. The USPFO for South Dakota located in Rapid City, South Dakota has a requirement for the following 5 types of equipment and is required to be BRAND NAME specific except item number 1 (Kenwood VHF Repeater) can be brand name or equal as long as it meets the specifications listed: // 1.) 3 each, Kenwood VHF Repeater TKR-750-2 with Freq Range: 136-150MHZ, Pwr: 25-50 watts, Telewave VHF Duplexer TPRD-1444C, Freq Range: 135-151MHZ (If the offeror is not proposing the Kenwood VHF Repeater TKR-750-2 they are required to submit tech nical data about their repeater to demonstrate the item offered meets the Governments requirements. Evaluation will be performed by the Governments Technical Team and will be based on technical and price related factors. Technical factors are more impor tant than price related factors. Offerors must submit a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS COMMERCIAL ITEMS with the price quote or may complete the representations and certifications on the internet at http://orca.bpn.gov. Failure to include the certification along with a quote or complete them on-line will render an offeror ineligible for award. Evaluation for award shall be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures, Subpart 13.106-2, Evaluation of Quotations or Offers. The government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract resulting from this notice to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer which meets product requirements. This is not an all or none award. The award will be made in the best interest of the Government. Contractors must be capable of accepting electronic fund payment for this procurement.
