- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a sole so urce proposal is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. To fill this requirement in the most expedient manner this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial items is issued as a sole source requirement to Rockwell Collins Servi ces Company. Rockwell Collins is the platform developer and owner of copyrights to all technical training materials required to train UH-60 A/L/M pilots regarding CASS operation and theory on the UH-60MU helicopter The Contractor shall conduct a CAAS UH-60MU Operator training course, which shall include the introduction, functionality, and interface between CAAS components and operation of CAAS. The training provided shall emphasis the following: Performance Progress all 5 pages, Performance Data, Performance Defaults, Equipment config pages, Cargo Wt Defaults, Fuel Wt Defaults, aux tank wt defaults - CDU Flight Planning Data set up all 3 pages, and direct to function -CDU Aircraft configuration page - CDU Commo page functionality - CDU (ARC-231) and 201's. HSDH - MFD Instrument - MFD Modes annunciation -MFD CDI, Blue/Green and Ref Pointer Functionality - MFD and FDDCP MFCU functionality 13. Hover Override - CDU The Contractor shall conduct a five (5) day (40 hour) training class at Redstone Arsenal, Al for a maximum of fifteen (15) students. A Government monitor may participate in the training secessions. The Contractor shall provide a copy of existing training guides, student guides, manuals and handouts for each student and the Government monitor. The Government will provide a UH-60MU Systems Integration Lab (SIL) to use a training device for hands-on exercise to the extent SLI is configured. GFE will be provided to the contractor at a time and location to be mutually agreed to between the Governmen t and the Contractor.
