- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Test Pilot School has a requiement for the maintenance, system checkout and flight test engineering support of the Variable Stability system installed in the SH-60B helicopter. Due to the highly specialized nature of the technology for the in-flight simulation, & the safety of flight implications of modifying a helicopter?s flight control system, the Government intends to negotiate with Calspan Corp. on an other than full and open competitive basis to procure these services. The VSS was designed, fabricated and installed into the SH-60 by Calspan Corp. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition procedures.
