Description
In an effort to promote small business interests, this second Request for Information is being posted. General Information: The Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment, Housing Privatization Directorate, is seeking information from additional sources capable of providing long-term portfolio management services supporting Air Force Military Housing Privatization Projects, Enhanced Use Leasing, and other privatization endeavors worldwide. This announcement is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). General Scope of Services: The Air Force has a potential need for oversight, monitoring, and management of privatized real estate assets to include housing, office, or industrial complexes. The portfolio management function begins upon project closing and ends upon expiration of all project transactional documents to which the Air Force is a party. Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to, oversight and monitoring, analysis, reporting, document management, education and training, management of real estate assets involving the use of various portfolio management tools, including compliance testing, accounting and financial reporting and reviews, facility audits and site visits, project and development management, insurance coverage assessment, document retention, proactive problem resolution initiatives, and other portfolio services. Request comment from interested parties to the following questions: 1. What is your business size? If you are a small business, do you also qualify under any of the sub-categories (8(a), small disadvantaged business, woman-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, service disabled veteran-owned small business, and HBCU/MI? 2. If you are a small business, would you consider submitting a proposal as a prime contractor? 3. Would you participate in this acquisition with other firms as teaming members or joint ventures? What other teaming opportunities do you see for this acquisition? 4. Submit information about your firm?s existing capabilities in management of real estate assets involving the use of various portfolio management tools, including compliance testing, accounting and financial reporting and reviews, facility audits and site visits, project and development management, insurance coverage assessment, document retention, proactive problem resolution initiatives, and other portfolio services. Include any expertise or experience in oversight or support of government real estate assets. If there is a GSA or other contract vehicle already available for the proposed requirement, please include this information in the response. Also please include any references for points of contact and contract numbers for relevant work experience. 5.
