- The Headquarters Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment (HQ AFCEE) will hold a pre-solicitation conference for the Post Closing Management Request for Proposal (RFP) in San Antonio, Texas, on Thursday, 9 August 2007. The location of the conference is Hilton San Antonio Airport, 611 NW Loop 410, San Antonio, Texas, 78216, Tel: 210-340-6060, Fax: 210-377-4674. Information, map and driving directions are available at the Hilton website: www.sanantonioairport.hilton.com. The conference is anticipated to be held in the morning and will be for one-half day. Registration will be made the day of the conference. Those planning to attend should respond by email to afcee.pcm@brooks.af.mil.15-3, the Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request for information (RFI) nor to otherwise pay for the information provided. This RFI is issued for the purpose of developing a viable solicitation that will best communicate the Government's requirements to industry. Response to this RFI is strictly voluntary and will not affect any corporation's ability to submit an offer if and when a solicitation is released. There is no bid package or solicitation document associated with this announcement. The requested information is for planning purposes and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued. No entitlement to payment by the Government of direct or indirect costs or charges will arise as a result of the submission of contractors' information. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any improperly identified proprietary information. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. Request for proposal, if and when issued, will be available on the Internet at FedBizOpps.gov and the AFCEE website at http://www.afcee.brooks.af.mil/pkv/pcm/default.asp?CID=70&folder=PCM. As such, it is the potential offerors? responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any additional information. The competition level has not been determined at this time.
