- Description
- The Coronado National Forest, Tucson, Arizona, is soliciting for hazardous fuel reduction treatment. The proposed project is located on the Sierra Vista Ranger district south of Patagonia, AZ. Contractor shall provide any and all labor, equipment, supplies, services, permits, and licenses necessary to perform 1,000 acres of fuels reduction and mitigation using a Fecon bullhog cutter or similar type of equipment. The dominant fuel type to be treated is manzanita with lesser amounts of Emory oak, pinyon pine, and alligator juniper. Contract time is 150 calendar days. Price range is between $100,000 to $500,000. Award will be based on best value to the Government upon evaluation of price and past performance. The desired time to start work is the week of November 12, 2007. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY! The solicitation for the Mowry Fuels Reduction project will be posted in fedbizopps on October 3, 2007.
