- ***Extended for technical clarifications.***Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has a requirement for 2,080 cases of Federal 12 Gauge Shotgun Ammunition (part number LE13200) or equal. The numbers of cases are to be drop shipped at various locations. Depending on the final quote the quantity of the cases might have to be reduced or increased to ensure there is sufficient funding. All submissions need to quote on the total amount of cases (2,080). If equal ammunition is submitted the following specification must be met and proven: Shotgun Specs: Federal 12 gauge, 2 inch maximum, muzzle velocity 1145, FPS flitecontrol wad 9 pellet, 00 buck. Note: The contractor must meet the following specifications as well: When using a 14 inch barrel and a 870 Remington shotgun at 15 yards the spread must be 8 inches or less in diameter. The contractor must provide literature in respect to proof of any equal product. The federal excise tax (FET) must be included within the final price. Award will be made on an all or none basis to the vendor who meets or exceeds all technical specifications and quantities above at the lowest price and best delivery terms. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format at FAR 13.5 as supplemented with information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The following provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. These clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-29 dated September 17, 2007. No addenda apply to these provisions and clauses. No additional FAR clauses apply.
