Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C., is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based substance abuse treatment services and mental health services within the Detroit, Michigan area defined as follows: The contractor shall be located no further than eight blocks (in any direction) from where the federal offenders are housed. The location of the housing facility is 11105 E Jefferson, Detroit, Michigan 48214. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period to begin on December 1, 2007 with four (4) possible one-year option periods. Services will end (if all options years are exercised) on September 30, 2012. The quantities provided below are estimates of required services: Base Year: Estimated Number of Inmates: 25 ∙ Intake Assessment (one per inmate), Estimated 3 inmates = 3 total ∙ Individual Counseling Session (30minutes=1unit) 8 units/month for 6 months = 48 units x 25 inmates =1,200 total ∙ Group Counseling Session (30minutes=1unit) 12 units/month for 6 months = 72 units x 25 inmates =1,800 total ∙ Family Counseling Session (30minutes=1unit) 8units/month for 2 months =16 units x 3 inmates =48 total ∙ Family Group Counseling Session (30minutes=1unit) ∙ 8 units/month for 2 months = 16 units x 3 inmates =48 total ∙ Psychological Testing & Report (one report/inmate/year), Estimated 3 inmates =3 total ∙ Medication Monitoring (one visit includes any and all medication administered by the provider during a 24-hour period/clinical visit) Estimated 3 inmates =3 total ∙ Intensive Outpatient Counseling (30minutes=1unit) 18 units/week for 9 weeks = 162 units x 1 inmate = 162 total ∙ Short-Term Residential Treatment (90 days) Estimated 1 inmate = 90 days ∙ Therapeutic Community Treatment (180 days) Estimated 1 inmate = 180 days ∙ Psychological Evaluation & Report, Estimated 3 inmates = 3 total ∙ Psychiatric Evaluation & Report, Estimated 3inmates = 3 total ? The request for quotation will be available on or after October 5, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site at http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Instructions for downloading the RFQ are provided at this website; hard copies of the quotation will not be available from the Government. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date for the RFQ is on or about October 24, 2007. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price requirements contract. All responsible businesses may submit a quote which will be considered by this agency.
