Description
The Command, Control, Communications and Computer Systems Directorate (C4S) of Military Sealift Command (MSC) requires technical services to (1) Design and install an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) necessary to ensure security compliance of Military Sealift Command's (MSC) Classified Local Area Network (CLAN) Protected Distribution System (PDS); (2) Conduct a physical security inspection of spaces which will contain CLAN terminals; and (3) Procure and install electronic security system upgrades necessary to ensure security compliance of the CLAN PDS for Military Sealift Fleet Support Command Ship Support Unit (MSFSC-SSU SD) at Point Loma, San Diego, CA. The work for these requirements will be performed at various locations. This solicitation is being advertised as a total small business set-aside. The proposed action will be a firm-fixed price contract. The acquisition will be classified under the North American Industrial Classification Code 561621 with a small business size standard of $11,500,000. The small business standard is used for purposes of identifying if a prime contractor or any subcontractors are considered as a small business for evaluation purposes. The Government reserves the right to reject any or all proposals at any time prior to award, to negotiate with any or all offerors, to award the contract to other than the offeror submitting the lowest total price and to award to the offeror submitting the proposal determined by the Government to be the most advantageous to the Government. The Government intends to award a single contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government.
