- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U. S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Springfield, Missouri intends to award on a sole source base under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 with Parata Systems, LLC, 2600 Meridian Parkway, Suite 100, Durham, NC 27713 for PacMed paper and printer ribbon (specific size 75mm x 70mm) supplies to be utilized and compatible with the PacMed 400 w/PacMed server and software. This unit dose system was procured on a multi-year contract for the leased equipment and the above consumable supplies are required for operation of this equipment. Estimated quantities are as follows: PSL7001, Amber colored PacMed paper, 6 rolls per case - 72 cases and PSL7000, Print Ribbon, PacMed, 12 rolls per case - 36 cases. This procurement will be for a firm-fixed priced purchase order for the period 10/1/07 through 9/30/08. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. Any firm who believes it can meet these requirements and can obtain approval as required in the terms and conditions of the multi-year contract from Parata may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by August 24, 2007, 2:00 p.m. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed and must show competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Parata Systems LLC. All vendors are hereby notified if your response is not received by the date and time specified in this notice, it will not be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
