- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotes (RFQ) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation documents, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federa l Acquisition Circular 2005-20. This procurement is a 100% set aside for Hubzone Certified Businesses. The NAICS is 811490 with business size standard $6.5 million. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated for base plus four options years. Options y ears will be unilaterally exercised at the Governments discretion. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and qualified supervision necessary to perform work associated with dry cleaning, alterations and sewing for the Military Honors Platoon, Headquarters, Company, United States Army Garrison, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Dry cleaning is estimated at approximately 2,400 dress blue uniforms; alterations is limited to jacket sleeves (shortening and lengthening) and shall include adjusting the hems on dress blue slacks. Alterations are estimated at approximately 23 dress blue uniforms and shall be accomplished on recycled uniforms. Sewing shall consist of sewing on the rank (E-5 and above) per set, conversion kits a nd honor guard tabs.
