Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award to a responsible quoter for the provision of Radiology Technologist Services at the Federal Correctional Complex Allenwood located in White Deer, Pennsylvania 17887. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621399 (Size Standard: $6.5 million). All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the field of Radiology Technologist services, and compliance with all Federal and State policy and regulations. The contractor shall adhere to all standards and regulations associated with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The contractors performance shall be monitored by the COTR and the contractor must have the ability to work with an inmate population from a variety of cultural, regional, racial and ethnic backgrounds. The contractor(s) shall at a minimum have five years of experience working as a Radiology Technologist, and a degree from an accredited school of Radiology Technology. Finally, the contractor must also possess and maintain a current license and registration for the state of Pennsylvania to practice radiology technology without restrictions. It is estimated that the Radiology Technologist will be required to perform 2080 one (1) hour sessions per year. A session is defined as one (1) hour. The contract period will consist of a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be available on or about October 25, 2007, and will be distributed solely through the website at ww.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. The anticipated due date for receipt of quotes is November 20, 2007. The solicitation is restricted to small business sources. All responsible small business sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contract for which they are eligible. Please note: All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov.
