Description

The Bureau of Reclamation is conducting a sources sought to identify qualified industry sources to develop a performance based statement of work to remove a 168,038 pound concrete press and a large triage chamber that are currently installed and resident in a General Services Administration (GSA) owned and operated building/facility. At a minimum, the concrete press is installed at approximately 19 feet subsurface. Available specifications and drawings are antiquated and may or may not be accurate. A site visit would be merited in the event a firm requirement materializes for the performance work statement for removal of the mentioned equipment. The facility is located at the Denver Federal Center, Lakewood, CO. THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized and posted at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Interested concerns should submit a non-returnable, general capabilities package no later than 4 calendar days after issuance of this sources sought announcement. Submission packages shall include the following information: (1) Business name, address, CAGE code, size classification based on NAICS size standard, socioeconomic classification (e.g., HUBZone), and a point of contact; (2) Evidence of specific qualifications and experience (as a prime contractor) in performing work similar in type and scope; (3) Evidence of required registration in both the CCR and ORCA. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Information on Annual Representations and Certifications can be obtained via the Internet at http://orca.bpn.gov. All submissions are non-returnable. The Government will not pay for any submissions. All qualified business concerns are requested to respond irrespective of business size status. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541990 and the related small business size standard is $6.5 Million.
