Description

The contractor shall purchase, inspect, conformlly coat, test and deliver quanty 90 CPU modules (Drawing #7128200-1). The CPU modules shall be delivered to the SP24 (Navigation Branch) for future use on the SSBN Platform. The above effort shall be performed in accordanace with OD61988, SP23 Programs Environmental Ship Interface, Security and Safety requirements; OD61424, Process for Design and Deployment of Hardware and Software Changes to SP23 Programs. The Contractor shall purchase, inspect and deliver quantiy 20 CPU modules (SVME-A04-0-7576 Curtis Wright cage code 1K9U8). The CPU modules shall be delivered to the SP24 (Navigation Branch) for furture use in Navigation Simulators. The contractor shall contract for module certificate of conformance and warranty coverage as deemed suitable to SP24 All efforts shall be performed in accordance with the TB9001B checklist dated July 27, 2005 Fire Control Type Produciton Column. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
