- Description
- The Flathead National Forest, Tally Lake Ranger District, is advertising a Pre-Solicitation Prospectus for the the Upper Stillwayter Lake Campground located in Flathead County, Montana. The project consists of heavy maintenance to access Road No. 2870 (approximately 0.65 miles) into the Upper Stillwater Lake Campground, along with construction of 650 feet of new campground loop road and five parking spurs with picnic table and tent pads. The major items of work include: heavy road reconditioning with drain dip construction; re-grading of the boat ramp approach and parking area; clearing and grubbing; excavation; furnishing and placing select borrow and crushed aggregate surfacing; fabrication and installation of concrete/wood picnic tables, a concrete sewage holding tanks, concrete wheel stops, and bulletin boards; installing Government-furnished fire rings and signs; and seeding, fertilizing, and mulching the site. A Pre-Solicitation Site Visit is not scheduled; however, prospective bidders/quoters are encouraged to visit the project on their own prior to winter conditions closing the area.
