- Description
- Solicitation 8007-40 request proposals for helicopter flight services, which are fully contractor operated and maintained, in support of the Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service. The helicopters will based at the Pogo Helibase, Folkston, GA in support of prescribed fire and fire suppression programs. The contract requires one light helicopters (Bell 206B3 or equal as a minimum, or one Bell 206L4, AS 350B2 or Bell 407 or equal as a target). The Contractor shall possess a current Federal Aviation Administration, Air Carrier or Operating Certificate and be certified under 14 CFR, Part 133 Rotorcraft External Load Operations and Part 137, Agricultural Aircraft Operations. The contract period for the helicopter will be December 26, 2007 through December 24, 2008 (364 calendar days). The contract will be one year with a government unilateral option for four additional years. The solicitation will be available at this site and http://amd.nbc.gov and is set aside for small business.
