ROSEBOROUGH. SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST/CAPABILITIES TO PROVIDE: Focused Ion Beam (FIB) The FIB must: 1) have the ability to see through silicon using an infra-red imaging system to image the integrated circuit through the back side silicon; 2) have high precision stage, sub 100 nm accuracy; 3) have integrated circuit navigation capability using circuit design information; 4) be equipped with gas assisted etch and deposition chemistries to etch and deposit integrated circuit materials (i.e. etch silicon, aluminum, copper, silicon oxide, etc. preferentially) (i.e. deposit metal and silicon oxide); 5) have a minimum stage travel of 50 mm in X and Y.
