- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) amends the Screening Information Request (SIR), Request for Offer to provide vendors with responses (attached) to questions/comments submitted on or before September 4, 2007. A subsequent amendment to update the individual sections of the SIR is anticipated. The Government plans to have a short question period after the SIR amendment is issued. The proposal due date remains December 4, 2007. Additionally, the FAA notifies vendors of a change in personal requirements for the Program Manager and Eastern Regional Point of Contact positions. The individuals holding those positions must be able to obtain a SECRET Security clearance and begin the application process within 60 days of contract award. None of the five files currently on the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS.gov) website have been updated with this amendment. The five files are: Section C, Attachment J-1, Attachment J-15, Attachment J-16, and Attachment J-18. Some will be updated with the subsequent amendment. Notice will be made on FAA Contract Opportunities when any SIR documents are changed. Vendors must be registered on the Central Contractor Registration site and FedTeDS in order to download SSI files. The Offeror's completed proposal must be submitted no later than 2:00 P.M. local time on December 4, 2007. Prospective offerors are hereby on notice that any amendment(s) issued to this solicitation will be published at http://faaco.faa.gov/index.cfm under the current announcements for the FAA Headquarters. It is the Offerors' responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. All amendments to the SIR after the proposal due date, must be acknowledged. If an amendment is issued and the Offeror does not acknowledge it, the Offeror may be considered nonresponsive to the solicitation. The FAA will not be liable for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to the RFO, nor reimburse or otherwise pay any costs incurred by any party responding to this announcement.
