- Description
- The North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System, 619 S. Marion Ave., Lake City, Florida intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Owens Minor, 8950 Western Way, Jacksonville, FL 32256. The proposed contract action is for a contract which will require the company to provide various Sklar brand instruments. Owens-Minor is the only known distributor for Sklar instruments. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their intent and capability to respond to the requirement no later than October 9, 2007, to be considered. Offerors must provide documentation of a distributorship with Sklar. No solicitation will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive bids. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
