- Description
- Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), the Wilkes Barre VAMC intends to award a sole-source contract to St Josephs Hospital. The contract will be for outpatient psychiatry services at the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Sayre, PA, which are needed on an intermittent basis. When requested, services must be provided promptly, and the hours worked will vary depending on need. The above contractor is extremely flexible and can provide service with as little as 24 hours notice, which is compatible with VAMC requirements. Period of performance is 1 Oct 2007 to 30 Sept 2008 with four option years. Interested persons who feel they can provide a similar service may identify such interest, in writing, to the Contracting Officer via email (andrea.greybush-mangroo@va.gov) before 10:00 AM local time, October 17, 2007. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized for this procurement.
