- The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Acquisition Center intends to release a request for proposal W91CRB-08-R-0002 on or about 16 Nov 2007 for Law Enforcement Personnel (LEP) services for the Joint Improvised Explosive Device D efeat Organization (JIEDDO). Performance will be both in CONUS and in Iraq and Afghanistan. A cost plus fixed fee type of contract is anticipated. The Government intends to award one contract from this solicitation. Anticipated period of performance fo r this effort is five (5) years from date of award. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation is the Internet only. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format and free of charge. The official release of th e Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on the internet at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) web site located at the following address: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/default.cfm. The on-line version of the RFP includes all documents of the s olicitation package. No hard copy of this RFP will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the solicitation. The complete solicitation package, including amendments, should be received and reviewed prior to submitting a res ponse. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor the Army Single Face to Industry website on a regular basis for any updates to the solicitation to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents. All contractors must be registered i n the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), www.ccr.gov to be considered for award of a Federal contract.
