- Description
- The correct solicitation number for this action is W58RGZ-08-R-0032. Because this action is an integrated services and supplies requirement, separate synopses are required in both the services and supply arenas. The initial synopsis was published fo r the services arena under service class action code R. This action is to re-submit the synopsis for publishing in the supply arena. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command propose an extension Not-to-Exceed six months under the existing Sikorsky/CCAD partnership contract DAAH23-03-D-0043. The extension will include both supplies and technical/engineering/logistical support services (TELSS) to support Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) in the repair and recapitalization of the H-60 Aircraft. This is a fully integrated effort that involves the procurement of combined integrated services and supplies to support CCAD in meeting a require d 50 percent reduction in repair turn around time (RTAT). The contractor must be able to provide the full range of services and 100% of material in order to meet the Governments requirement. The contractor will provide technology insertion, obsolescence management and test and support of equipment upgrades in support of reliability improvements for H-60 Aircraft. The contractor will advise CCAD in establishing commercial best practices in the areas of production planning, production control, material ma nagement and process engineering. This effort also requires that the contractor develop repair, recap, and structural workstation kits and provide logistical support function in the inventory management of the parts and the material required by CCAD in th e repair of the H-60 Aircraft in order to streamline CCAD component production and achieve a 50% reduction in repair turn around time. The logistic support functions include supplying 100% of the parts required for CCAD to repair H-60 Aircraft. Complete and adequate data is not available to support full and open competition. This effort is a continuation of the existing sole source contract to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06615, who alone has the background design knowle dge experience, data, and/or equipment to support technical, engineering, material, and modernization capability required for this effort. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors are encouraged to contact Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (Ms. Shelia Harris 203-386-3387) for subcontracting opportunities on this effort. Government POC for this effort is Tracey McGraw (256)842-7630. See numbered note(s) 22 and 26.
