Description

This is published as a sole source announcement under the authority of Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation Electronic Systems (NGSCE S) 7055 Troy Hill Drive, Elkridge, MD 21075, for two each Cobham Diagnostic Test Stations (CDTS) used for testing and maintenance of the AN/VIC-3 Vehicular Intercommunications System. Included are standard manuals, warranty, and test interface cables re quired to test: A3205747 (NSN 5895-01-382-3221, Control, Indicator); A3205746 (5830-01-382-3218, Control, Intercom); A3205749, (NSN 5895-01-382-3220, Interface Unit, Control); A3205748 (NSN 5830-01-382-3209, Control, Intercom); A3206623 (NSN 5895-01-469-3 352, Control, Indicator); and A3206624 (NSN 5895-01-469-6120, Interface Unit, Control). The manufacturer of the AN/VIC-3 as well as the CDTS is Chelton Defence Communications Ltd., part of Cobham Defence Communications Ltd, Blackburn, UK. NGSCES has the exclusive sales/marketing rights of the CDTS in the United States. The Government does not have a technical data package for the either the AN/VIC-3 or the CDTS. Technical data is proprietary to Chelton/Cobham. Delivery is 7 months after date of award. F OB Destination, Tobyhanna Army Depot. NAICS is 334515, 500 employees.
