Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W81K02-08-R-0002 is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The Department of Obstetrics, Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii has a requirement for 3,000 Newborn Metabo lic Screening Kits.. The NAICS code for this procurement is 325413 and the SIC code is 2835. The small business standard is 500. This is a Sole Source Procurement. The Pacific Regional Contracting Office at Tripler Army Medical Center, HI intends to award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. The govt anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract to the Dept of Health, Family Health Services Division, State of Hawaii, who is currently providing the Newborn Metabolic Screening Program throug hout the state of Hawaii. Procedures and fees are set in accordance with Hawaii Revised Statute 321-291 @ http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrs2002/vol06_ch0321-0344/hrs0321/hrs_0321-0291.htm The Pacific Regional Contracting Office at Tripler Army Medical Cent er, HI intends to award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer.
