- Description
- Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supplies, for the removal and disposal of an existing concrete drainage pad, a buried 1000 gallon concrete tank, concrete drain with attached PVC, miscellaneous pavement and gravel and construct a new concrete gutter drainage system including the installation of a buried concrete storage tank, construction of a new taxiway drainage ditch, construction of two (02) helipads, and other related work. Work is located in Lewistown, Fergus County, Montana. Maps and drawings will be provided with the Request for Quotations. There will be eight (8) line items on the schedule; (1) Mobilization; (2) Demobilization; (3) Site Grading; (4) Concrete Buried Tank; (5) Concrete Gutter; (6) Concrete Drain; (7) Concrete Helipad; and (8) Concrete Drainage Pad Replacement. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and complete their annual representations and certifications (ORCA). Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov and for ORCA at http://orca.bpn.gov. The contractor shall have 60 days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed to complete the work. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment protection will be submitted within ten (10) days of NOTICE OF AWARD, by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. The solicitation will be posted on or about October 16, 2007. Response date for quotes will be on or about November 15, 2007. Information for the site visit will be cited in Section L of the specifications. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office but will be available on the website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. This procurement is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. However, all small business concerns are encouraged to respond. If a fair and reasonable quote is NOT received by a responsible and responsive Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concern, all quotes received from small business concerns will be considered without further competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237110. Small business size standard is $31.0 million.
