Description
The purpose of this notice is to inform all parties that the United States Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office, Far East, Okinawa Japan intends to negotiate a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price Contract, with Lockheed Martin Corporation, 86 South Cobb Drive Marietta GA 30063-0670. This sole source procurement is pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. This purchase will be made using simplified acquisition procedures under the authority of the Test Program for Commercial Items (FAR 13.5). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is: 448190 with a size standard of $6.5M, and a Federal Supply Class (FSC) Code of L015. Lockheed Martin Corporation, will provide the organizational level aircraft maintenance and logistics support for KC-130 aircraft assigned to 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 152 (VMGR 152). The performance consists of accomplishing all scheduled and unscheduled organizational level maintenanc e identified herein and in the squadron?s Monthly Maintenance Plan to include but is not limited to: corrosion control, aircraft and project equipment storage and inventory control, aviator?s equipment, aviation life support systems, egress and environmental systems, VIDS clerk, NALCOMIS data entry, tool control center, material control and hazardous material tracking. All work is to be performed in accordance with applicable Navy technical manuals and directives and in accordance with CNAF Instruction 4790.2 series. Lockheed Martin Corporation is the former incumbent under a government contract and has demonstrated technical proficiency and expertise to perform this service contract for the KC-130J aircraft assigned to VMGR-152, which contains commercial proprietary technical data owned and controlled by Lockheed Martin. The anticipated award date of any resulting contract is 15 Dec 2007. The period of performance will be from 01 Jan 2008 through 31 Dec 2009, with a one y ear option. The dollar value of the award is expected to be under $4, 000,000.00. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. Submission of EOIs shall be made no later than 15 October 2007 to the Regional Contracting Office Far East.
