- LEASE SPACE TO THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENT: The General Services Administration currently occupies 22,905 ANSI/BOMA square feet of office space at Crossways 1 under lease number GS-03B-01333 and is interested in expanding by maximum of 24,000 ANSI/BOMA square feet of office space for the United States Coast Guard in Chesapeake, Virginia. LEASE TERM: 10 years with full termination rights by the Government after the 5th full year of occupancy. DELINEATED AREA WITHIN CHESAPEAKE, VIRGINIA: North: I-64 South: Kempsville Road East: Indian River Rd. West: Hwy 17/I-464 ANALYSIS: Based on the responses to this advertisement, a Cost-Benefit Analysis will be conducted to determine if it is in the Government?s best interests to remain at the current location or satisfy the requirement through competition. The Government will consider the physical cost of moving, alterations, telecommunications, and other cost factors regarding relocation. SUBMITTALS: Written expressions of interest shall be submitted by October 12th, 2007 and should include the following: Building Name and Address Rentable and Usable Square footage and rental rate Building Footprint/ Floorplans Submissions by other than the owner of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the owner granting permission to make a general offering of space.
