- NASA/GSFC is hereby soliciting information about potential sources for the following procurement: Provide facilities planning, cost estimating, and project scheduling expertise at GSFC. Planning expertise translates information about facilities quality, quantity, and configuration into solutions, often including design and construction projects but sometimes operational or maintenance changes, and justification of needs in an environment of severely restricted resources. Strategic, conceptual, and parametric cost estimating involves support to planners, project managers, and Division leadership in developing competitive alternatives for accomplishing major capital projects, as well as parametric estimating tool development and refinement. Routine estimation services provide cost estimating support to planners and project managers in developing cost estimates for work requests (projects proposed for funding at under $500K each) and routine capital investment projects (usually under $5M each). Schedulers capture complex information about the steps to be taken to achieve an objective, documenting the interdependency relationships among them to ensure that requirements can be implemented within the available resources. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service if required. It is the potential offeror?s responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. Companies interested in and capable of performing the above referenced work may respond to this announcement. Responses must include the following: name and address of firm, size of business; average annual revenue for past 3 years and number of employees; NAICS Code related to relevant work; whether they are large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, and/or woman-owned; number of years in business; list of customers that relevant work was provided covering the past five years (highlight contract numbers, contract type, dollar value of each procurement; and point of contact - address and phone number).
