- Description
- NOTICE OF INTENT: Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Federal Investigative Services Division (FISD) intends to enter into a sole source agreement to obtain parking for government vehicles in Arlington, VA, with Parking Management, Inc (PMI). Parking Management, Inc., shall provide a Monthly Parking Agreement for 18 inside and 3 outside parking spaces for the Arlington Field Office and 1 inside parking space for Agency Liaison Group (ALG) of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Federal Investigative Services Division (FISD). The 3 outside parking spaces shall be marked as OPM Parking Only. The location of the spaces is OPM, FISD, Suite 1100, 223 23rd Street, Arlington, VA. The period of performance is October 1, 2007 - September 30, 2008. Parking for government vehicles is not included in the lease of office space for the Arlington Field and the ALG located at Suite 1100, 223 23rd Street, Arlington, VA. Therefore, at the building owner's discretion and for the safety and security of the government vehicles, PMI is considered the sole manager of parking for this location. OPM deems it appropriate to award a fixed-price agreement on other than a full and open competitive basis to Parking Management, Inc. Parking Management, Inc. is the available responsible source and no other source will satisfy the needs of the Agency. The North American Standard Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for action is 561990 - All Other Support Services. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS, AN INVITATION FOR BIDS, OR A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. FURTHERMORE, IT DOES NOT REPRESENT A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY FOR COSTS INCURRED IN PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF DATA OR ANY OTHER COSTS INCURRED IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. This is not a solicitation for offers, but rather a notice of OPM's intent to negotiate a sole source award to Parking Management, Inc. This notice is for information only, and may represent the only official notice.
