- Description
- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Bowe Bell and Howell, located at 3791 S. Alston Avenue, Durham, NC 27713, for the annual renewal for maintenance of DEAs Master Mailer eqipment for the period of one year. The proposed purchase order is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Bowe Bell and Howell under the authority of 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. A justification for other than full and open competition has been justified, certified and approved for Bowe Bell and Howell. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423420. The small business standard for this NAICS code is 100 employees. The acquisition will be conducted through Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government anticipates the award of a fixed price purchase order. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities by responding via email at Lisa.Taylor2@usdoj.gov. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, and a Request for Quotations (RFQ) is not available. Closing date is October 9, 2007 at 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
