Description

The U.S. Geological Survey, BRD, Upper Midwest Environmental Science Center (UMESC), 2630 Fanta Reed Road, La Crosse, WI 54603 intends to award a sole source non-competitive procurement to E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc., 339 Whitecrest Drive, Maryville, TN 37801 for support services. E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc., is uniquely qualified to assist with the development of a landscape vegetation succession model to assist in the restoration of Upper Mississippi River System. E2 principal scientists offer more than 12 year of experience in developing, applying, and evaluating ecological models of selected terrestrial and aquatic resources important to ecosystems within the aquatic areas and floodplain of the Upper Mississippi and Illinois Rivers. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. NO FORMAL RFQ WILL BE AVAILABLE. The anticipated award date is 10/10/2007, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code is 541620. A determination not to continue with this acquisition based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition. Interested vendors may identify their capability by responding within 5 days after the publication of this announcement to http://ideasec.nbc.gov, PreSol 08ER01-No Solicition.
