Description
SYNOPSIS AND SOLICITATION: This acquisition is being issued in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N00104-08-Q-Q114, which is a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611420. The Government is seeking Sun Microsystems authorized Educational Training Classes for onsite training at Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Attention: Mr. Joel Cohen, San Diego C4I Programs Office Philadelphia, 700 Robbins Ave, Bldg 7D, NAVICP Philadelphia, PA 19111-5098. The requirement consists of the following C ontract Line Item Numbers (CLINS): QUANTITY DESCRIPTION 1 ES-222; Solaris Volume Manager Administration 3 Days, 12 Students, Onsite Equipment Rental 1 ES-311; Veritas Volume Manager 4.1 Administration 5 Days, 12 Students, Onsite Equipment Rental 1 STS-276-S10; System Administration for experienced UNIX Admins 5 Days, 12 Students, Onsite Equipment Rental 1 SA-200-S10; System Administration for the Solaris 10 Part 1 5 Days, 12 Students, Onsite Equipment Rental 1 SA-202A-S10; System Administration for the Solaris 10 Part 2 5 Days, 12 Students, Onsite Equipment Rental 1 ST-350; Sun Systems Fault Analysis 5 Days, 12 Students, Onsite Equipment Rental The period of performance for the above classes is one (1) year from date of award. The following FAR Subpart 12 provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference: Time of Delivery. (6/97); FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, Alternate I (Offerors must submit a completed copy of the Representations and Certifications with their offer); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, (a), (b)(1), (5), (7), (11-16), (21), (24), (d) and (e).
