- Description
- The U.S. Government Printing Office(GPO)has a requirement to procure(2)identical new paper baling machines, Model 72AH36 Standard LH configuration as manufactured by Balemaster Company, or equal. This machine shall be fed by a vertical drop chute. The feed opening dimensions shall be 30 inches wide by 28.5 inches. The height of the feed opening shall be 88.5 inches from the ground. The baler shall be capable of producing an approximate bale size of 72 inches long by 36 inches by 30 inches wide. The density of the bale shall be between 23 and 27 pounds per cubic foot. The ram shall be hydraulically actuated with a stroke cycle not to exceed 20 seconds. The equipment shall operate from a single input of 460VAC, 3 phase, 60 hertz. All electrical motors shall be TEFC(Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled)with sealed roller or ball bearings. All AC motors shall have a nameplate designation for 460 volt operation. All electrical components shall bear the UL label and conform to the latest standards and revisions of NEMA, UL and ANSI.
