- Description
- The Office of Headquarters Procurement Services is soliciting for offers for security related technical, analytical and administrative support services for the Office of Health, Safety and Security (HSS). This competitive acquisition is a 100% set-aside for small businesses under NAICS Code 541690, with a size limit standard of $6.5 million. The support required is to develop, manage, and implement policies and procedures to identify highly-classified nuclear technology in support of non-proliferation objectives, specifically in the areas of: (1) Personnel Security, (2) Assessment and Integration Support, (3) Field Assistance Support, (4) International Safeguards and Physical Protection Support, (5) Materials Control and Accountability (MC&A) Support, (6) Planning and Technology Development, (7) Technical and Operations Security Support, (8) Security Analytical and Technical Support Services, (9) Administrative Support Services. Proposals must be received through the DOE-IIPS web site no later than 7:00 p.m., Eastern Time on November 14, 2007. All requests for explanation or interpretation of any part of the solicitation must be submitted through the "Submit Question" feature in IIPS no later than 2:00 p.m., Eastern Time on or before October 15, 2007. Answers to questions will be provided via DOE-IIPS as soon thereafter as practicable. The Government shall not respond to questions submitted by telephone, E-mail or in person at any time. Offerors are encouraged to periodically check IIPS to ascertain the status of any amendments. All communications concerning this acquisition (including, but not limited to, questions, management/technical issues, pricing issues, administration issues, and proposal issues) shall be conducted via the DOE-IIPS web site. The Contract Specialist, Ms. Donna Williams, and the undersigned Contracting Officer, will coordinate all communications on behalf of the Government. Communications with anyone other than Ms. Williams or the undersigned Contracting Officer are inappropriate during this on-going acquisition. It is also the responsibility of the respondent to monitor this site for the release of (1) any additional information, (2) amendments to this solicitation, and (3) other related documents. It is suggested that after interested parties have registered on IIPS to click on the "Join Mailing List" and fill out the required information to receive automatic notifications. Your interest in the U. S. Department of Energy???s requirement is appreciated. Note: This requirement was synopsized under RFP Number DE-RP01-07HS07014.
