Description: Syracuse VA Medical Center intends to negotiate a sole source agreement with Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". VA physician will be doing endoscopy procedures in the Binghamton New York area and has privileges at Lourdes Hospital. As such, this sole-source justification cites FAR 6.302-1(a)(1) and the associated U.S.C. language as the authority to engage in this procurement using other than full and open competition.
