- This is a combined Synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is set aside 100% for small business. The NAICS is 442210. The Small Business Size Standard is $6,500,000. This requirement is to purchase and install carpet for dormitories. Basic services to be provided include, but are not limited to: Remove existing cove base and carpet from identified rooms, and dispose off base Install new carpet (Glued Down) and cove base to same room (cove base will match existing cove base in color, size, and style currently 4 inch gray in color) Repair any and all damage to room caused by contractor The square yardage will vary with each room, average is 32 square yards. An estimate of the number of rooms is 30 rooms Carpet will be consistent with existing carpet, Weavepoint, Nashua II, 28 ounce with 10-yr warranty Moonstone (color). Site visit will be held on Oct 4th 2007 at 9:00 am. Please provide SrA Martin Wallace with the names of all who will be attending before the 4th. A statement of work can be provided upon request. There are 40 rooms that need to be capeted they are as follows: Dorm 222 Room 104A Dorm 236 Rooms 102, 113, 114S, 116, 117, 119, 122, 201, 203, 205S, 206S, 207, 215, 220, 222, 224 Dorm 244 Rooms 104A, 109S, 1206A, 206B, 206A, 207B, 210A, 210B, 214B Dorm 248 Rooms 110A, 110B, 119A 122B, 214B, 215B, 223A Dorm 835 Rooms 106, 115, 216 Dorm 836 Rooms 206, 212, 213 Dorm 838 Rooms 209 If the product does not meet the required specifications at delivery, the equipment will be picked up by the contractor at his/her expense and no payment will be made on the purchase order.
