- Description
- The VA Medical Center, Baltimore, MD intends to negotiate a sole source contract with University of Maryland/Neurology, 655 W. Baltimore Street Baltimore, Maryland for a Neurological Research Laboratory Technician. This action is the result of continued research and a need for continuity in the study-specific competencies employed thus far. The sole source acquisition is enacted in accordance with existing authority under FAR 6.302-1. The NAICS code for this procurement is 611310. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responsible sources interested in this procurement shall submit on their company letterhead a statement which contains clear and convincing information identifying their capabilities to provide Brain Injury Outcomes Study Coordination. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in writing no later than 3:00 pm local time, October 12, 2007 at Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Maryland Health Care System, 10 E.
