Description
The pre-solicitation notice for Solicitation No. 08SP101678 is currently available. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238160 and the size standard is $13 million in gross annual receipts averaged over the previous three 1-year accounting periods. The estimated price range of the work is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The Grand Coulee Power Office, Grand Coulee, Washington, has a requirement for to replace the Left and Right Powerplant roof, the Left and Right Bus Bay roof, the Left and Right Fan Room roof, and the Third Powerplant roof. The work for the Left and Right Powerplants includes: removing existing roofing, installing two layers of 2-inch thick polyisocyanurate insulation, and furnishing and installing thermoplastic polyolefin roofing. The work for the Third Powerplant roof includes: removing and replacing wet or damaged sprayed polyurethane foam insulation, scarifying top 1-inch of polyurethane foam to remove blistered silicone roof membrane coating, adding new sprayed polyurethane foam insulation to improve areas of poor drainage and smooth out the roofing surface, applying a new 1-coat roofing primer and a new 2-coat polyurethane roofing membrane to all surfaces of the Third Powerplant roof (60 mil minimum), applying a top layer of mineral granules, installing new surface-applied sheet metal reglet flashing to all parapet walls, and installing new expansion joints. The jobsite is located at Grand Coulee Dam on the Columbia River adjacent to the City of Coulee Dam, Washington, approximately 90 miles west of Spokane, Washington, in Grant and Okanogan Counties. The solicitation will be issued approximately October 24, 2007, and will only be available for downloading directly from the following website: www.usbr.gov/pn/contracts/construction/1678. Telephone requests for the solicitation will not be accepted.
