Description

The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement for Reusable Sharps Containers and Medical Waste Removal Services for the VA Medical Center, Marion, IL. Contractor shall supply all sharps containers, mounting brackets, single and double mobile carts, crash carts and bulk transport carts needed to provide a reusable sharps management program. There are an estimated 279 locations throughout the main campus. Contract will be for a base period of one year estimated to begin December 1, 2007 through November 30, 2008 with option to renew four (4) additional one-year periods. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for award to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns. Offers or quotations from other than service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals will be evaluated on Technical Factors, Past Performance and Price in accordance with the evaluation criteria identified in the solicitation. Request for Proposal will be available on or about October 12, 2007. Due date for receipt of offers is November 9, 2007, 4:00 p.m. CST. Anticipated award date is November 19, 2007.
